Patchwork Pot Grabber – Introduction to Patchwork Quilting

Date/Time
29/08/2015 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Maria loves that this quick project shows how you can use fabric scraps to make a pretty and useful accessory for your kitchen whilst learning the stages of patchwork quilting too.
Skill Level: Capable Sewer*
This is a great little project that will inspire you to use your fabric scraps!
It’s also a great project for anyone who is keen to make a patchwork quilt but doesn’t know where to start.
We will start with patching together fabric scraps then move on to quilting before finishing with binding techniques using bias-binding. All of which is much easier to learn on a small project like this.
Tea, coffee & biscuits will be provided.
*Capable Sewer – for this workshop you need to be able to use a sewing machine & have practised sewing in straight lines, keeping to the seam allowance.
